Step 01
We read your charts.
Remy connects to your PIMS via its existing API — ezyVet, Cornerstone, AVImark, or Neo. Every closed visit where an insurance claim is likely gets flagged automatically.
How it works
Four steps, most of them invisible to you.
Step 01
Remy connects to your PIMS via its existing API — ezyVet, Cornerstone, AVImark, or Neo. Every closed visit where an insurance claim is likely gets flagged automatically.
Step 02
Remy extracts the diagnosis codes, CPT codes, invoice line items, and relevant SOAP note context. It maps everything to the insurer’s specific form — Trupanion’s layout is not Nationwide’s layout is not Healthy Paws’ layout. The right fields get the right data.
Step 03
Through each insurer’s preferred channel — API where one exists, portal where it doesn’t, authenticated email where that’s the only option. Submission timestamps and confirmation numbers are logged to your dashboard.
Step 04
If the claim is approved, you see the reimbursement clear. If it’s denied, Remy drafts the appeal with the supporting documentation already pulled together. You review, approve, and we resubmit. Nothing falls through a crack.

What you decide, not us
Nothing leaves your clinic without a human sign-off on claims that fall outside routine — an appeal with new clinical context, a claim above a dollar threshold you set, anything involving a case with notes you’ve marked sensitive. Remy is a colleague, not a replacement for your judgment.
You set the threshold for what needs your eyes. Some clinics review every claim for the first two weeks and then move to exceptions-only. Some stay in exceptions-only from day one. Either works.
Data handling
Patient records and invoices are processed to submit the claim and then retained only as long as needed to handle appeals — typically 18 months per insurer, longer only if a claim is still in appeal. We don’t sell data to anyone. We don’t use your clinical notes to train any model. If you end your pilot or your subscription, your data is purged within 30 days and we send you written confirmation.
We’re not HIPAA-covered — veterinary records aren’t protected under HIPAA — but we handle data to HIPAA-adjacent standards because practice managers expect it and clients deserve it.
