Terms
Terms of Service.
Last updated: April 2026.
The agreement
By using Remy, your clinic agrees to these terms. “Remy,” “we,” and “us” mean the company that operates remy.vet. “You” and “your clinic” mean the veterinary practice using the service. If the person signing up isn’t authorized to bind the clinic, please stop and have someone who is.
What Remy does
Remy reads SOAP notes and invoices from your PIMS, drafts insurance claims, submits them to carriers, and tracks their status through payout, including any appeals you approve. Details of what’s supported — PIMS, insurers, features — are in the product documentation and on the pricing page.
Remy drafts; your team reviews and approves according to the thresholds you set. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the underlying clinical and financial records.
The 30-day pilot
The first 30 days are free. No credit card, no contract to continue. On day 31 you can move to the paid plan or end the engagement. If you don’t move to paid, we purge your data within 30 days and send you written confirmation.
Paid subscription
$400 per month per clinic on the default plan. $300 per month for each additional location under the same ownership. Multi-location groups of 5+ may sign an annual rate. Month-to-month unless you sign a longer term in writing. Cancel anytime; your final invoice covers the month in progress, prorated only if we explicitly agree in writing.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate PIMS access and keep credentials current. If access breaks, we’ll tell you; claims can’t flow without it.
- Configure the human-review thresholds you want. The defaults are reasonable for most clinics; adjust them.
- Ensure the clinical and financial records Remy reads are accurate. We don’t practice veterinary medicine and we don’t second-guess your records.
- Keep your own client-facing disclosures current. If a pet owner asks who’s handling claims, the answer is your clinic — Remy is an internal tool.
What we promise, and what we don’t
We’ll operate the service with reasonable care, keep it running during normal business hours, and fix genuine defects promptly. Beyond that, the service is provided “as is.” Insurer portals change, get flaky, go down; we work around it but can’t guarantee any specific outcome on any specific claim.
To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limits of liability
Except for claims arising from our gross negligence or willful misconduct, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We aren’t liable for lost profits, lost revenue, or indirect or consequential damages.
Termination
You may terminate at any time by emailing us. We may terminate for non-payment, for material breach after a 10-day cure period, or immediately if your use of the service would require us to violate law. On termination, we purge your data within 30 days and send written confirmation.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially, we’ll email each active clinic at the address on file 30 days before the change takes effect.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State where Remy is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state and federal courts with jurisdiction there, unless both parties agree in writing to arbitrate. Specific jurisdiction will be confirmed in the final lawyer-reviewed version of this page.
